Get off my cloud.

I detest cloud-shitters.
Though fortunately a rare breed, they still have the ability to cheapen your successes with swift nonchalance and practised blasé. Yet you continue to seek their approval. Share with them the news of promotions and planned holidays. Invite them to prized gatherings, introduce treasured friends and feed their hungry egos with your ears.

They falsify happiness for you if popularised lambs they themselves associate with approve.
They only speak to outshine you. Will only accept if there is nothing better on offer.

I am not bitter, I just don't need you. Don't need you flicking your hair in my face or looking over my shoulder. I'll be OK without your body-scanning-name-dropping ways.
Here is your stop.

Carry on and let me keep dreaming. Get off my fucking cloud.

  1. Always amazing writing. I'd wish for you the world to see your words, engage in self reflection and be inspired to act. For those many cricketers wives that shat on my cloud, with their idealistic views and materialistic possessions, I thank you truly for truly reminding me stuff doesn't matter only family, good friends and laughter are important. Ck xx
